Max Monster Part 1

It's so hard to believe that my grandson, Max, will be a year old tomorrow. I remember very well the morning he was born and the night before. I was there! What a wonderful memory and it's been so much fun watching him during his first year in this world.

The theme for his first birthday is monsters. This is so appropriate because he loves to do monster impersonations. When he's encouraged to "be a monster" he spits out his pacifier, growls and starts crawling very, very fast; like he's on the attack! He's so cute, but then, I'm not biased or anything.

Above is the birthday card I made him to commemorate this very special celebration! Below is the envelope. I know, I know. Probably overkill, but I just couldn't help myself! :D

New Collaged Note Cards

I try to make a note card every day; not just because I need note cards, but because it's a perfect studio warm up as well. It gets me into my right mind and thinking about collage design.

The Latest Collaged Note Cards

I was very good last week at creating a new note card every day. They are something I use all the time when sending a birthday or greeting card and an item I sell whenever I'm doing an outdoor show. Some customers have caught on to the idea that for $5.00 they can go home with a piece of original, frame-able artwork!

New Handmade Note Cards

I love making note cards. I try to complete a new one at every studio session. It's a great warm up for the days' collaging tasks. Here are two recent ones!

Holiday Note Cards

To see more designs, click here!
I've created some note cards for the 2012 Holiday Season. They're note cards and not greeting cards because they are blank on the inside to allow you to write your own personal greeting to the recipient. And the can be purchased either in boxes of 10 or boxes of 20. Unfortunately, Cafe Press does not allow for mixing or matching; at least not this year. :(

I hope you like these designs!
